I love the simplicity of this card, it was so easy.

Firstly i inked up the stamp with whisper white craft ink from stampin up and stamped it straight onto

Basic Black card stock, and cut out the image.  The card to the left, i smooch spritzed it in silver, (also available in the australian summer mini), and then mounted it with dimensionals to pop it off the card.  Wella, simple as.  The one to the right, i used the basic black satin ribbon on whiper white card stock to layer it and then using dimensionals popped it again.

STAMPIN' UP! NEWS PRINT DESIGNER SERIES PAPER - 2011 DIARY COVERING

My eldest son is off to Uni next year, and i needed something extra to put in his santa stocking to fill

up to the top.  So off i go to office works, to buy him a diary, between working and uni

i figured he would need one.

There wasnt any there that really appealed to me so i got this brain wave idea that , i would cover one

that would represent the year that he would be having.  So  i purchased a recycled paper diary, you know the ones with that yucky brown recycled look on the front And took it home and covered it in Stampin'  Up! designer series paper, and lined the inside with another sheet from the same packet. 

I used the big shot and timeless type sizzlets to cut out his name and some deleted double stitched ribbon

for some page finders and wellah.  Next years diary and a unique one at that.  Now i know that it will get knocked around between work and school, oops i stand corrected, Uni.  hehehe, just a little slip up there, as it felt like when he was back in primary school and i was covering his books.  Anyways,  I decided to preserve the front of the diary somewhat and covered it in clear contact adhesive so that it will protect it, just incase he spills his lunch on it.  Since he owns his own house and doesnt live at home anymore, i wont be able to check his bag, to make sure he hasnt squashed his lunch into it.  I know he is 23, but i am sure you can relate to being a mum.  Hope you like it and next year when you are covering your kids books for school and want something a bit unique, try using some Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper, for that special school book covering or for something completely unique that another wont have.  Hope you like it.

It must this time of year, but due to the overwhelming interest in my wine bottle gift tags, and the fact the original one i made over a year ago's poor quality.... I thought i owed it to everyone to

STAMPIN' UP! CHRISTMAS CARD IDEA'S - A VERY BLINGY CHRISTMAS CARD

A very Blingy Christmas Card

Just tinkering around in my craft studio this afternoon and remembered i still hadnt finished off my christmas

cards for my family and closest friends, oops, well what a nice surprise jsut when they think christmas is over

yay,  here comes traceys blingy christmas card yaya. Worth waiting for lol.

Well good things come to those that wait, and if your waiting, waiting, waiting, for my christmas cards they are in the post and on their ways lol.

Ok have to tell you about this card.  From scrap to bling aye,  I found these carousel note cards that were hovering around in the back of my craft studio, they were deleted from last years catalogue and were from one of the simply sent kits.  So to bring them out into the current catalogue, i used the gorgeous pearls stick on rhinestones and the jewel rhinestones from the current ideas book and catalgue and the gorgeous, gorgeous Medallion stamp and stamped in whisper white, then blinged them.  I used the  perfect punch stamp set for the circle sentiment that i punched out with the scallop circle punch and  popped it with some dimensionals.  After  i embossed it with clear embossing powder and choc chip ink on whisper white card stock.  I just used the crop a dile to then fix antique jumbo eyelet to have a hole up the top for the whisper white satin ribbon.

Well what do you think, worth waiting for aye.

n.b.  You can substitute the carousel note for the new large scalloped circle big z die and cut it out with the big shot. Which will acheive the same outcome.

STAMPIN' UP! BELLA TOILE CONGRATULATIONS CARD

Congratulations my team mate Sue Poile who yesterday promoted to Supervisor with

Stampin' Up! i am so proud of her, she is the true little aussie battler, and she just keeps

battling on until she gets there.  She is the most generous and kind hearted person you would

every wanna meet.  I tried to go to great effort to make this card but isnt any where near

the effort that sue does helping people especially with their craft and Stampin' Up!.

Anyways i cannot go into to much detail about this card as you see it is part of my guessing competition, but what i can tell you that I water coloured it by hand with 8 different Stampin' Up! ink pads and aqua pen,

I embellished with the Antique brads and i decorated the border using the delightful eyelet border punch

sure one of my favourites.  And my new favourite stamp set called Well scripted.  I hope you like it and i hope sue does too.  Remember to enter my blog candy giveaway in my side bar.

SAD NEWS - FUNERAL THANK YOU NOTE

My dear friend Sue, phoned me an hour ago to tell me that her mum had passed away today. I am deeply saddened and because of the time of night, felt completely helpless because i wasnt able to go to her straight away.  I wanted to help in any way that i can, and the best way for me to help is with a card.  I decided that i would help out by making the funeral thank you notes for her and then that would be one less thing at this time that she neednt worry about, especially being a week out from christmas.   So i have designed this little thank you note for her, with plenty of room to put a lovely photo of her mum wearing her favourite pink hat.

Rest in peace Jeanette, you will be sadly missed.

It's my little buddies birthday soon and i am so over making christmas cards that i thought

i would make her a birthday card sooner rather than later.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANGELA.

It's angelas birthday on the 28th of december and i didnt want to forget with all the festivities

so thought i would make it now and besides i was wanting to do be spontaneous instead of christmasy..

So i tried out my new Stampin' Up! Circle Scissors plus that is now on special for 50% off in the december frenzies special that stampin up is currently running this month.  I cut out the large pink circle, then a smaller circle of stampin up lap of luxury designer series paper.  Then i used regal rose card stock to cut out a card with the scalloped circle bigz die from stampin up, and again with the LOL designer series paper and folded it in half and used the gorgeous concord crush in colour ribbon to accent the card.  Whats that you ask ?  The sentiment, well that is from the new Well Scripted stamp set currently in the summer mini catalogue which is a limited release stamp set , just gorgeous isnt it.  Did you notice the spiffy little buttons highlighting the pattern in the dsp.  They are itty bitty buttons from the summer mini arent they so cute. just too cute and cheap as chips too, i hope you like it, even more i hope angela likes it.

Stampin' Up! Australia - FUN FAST NOTES - GET WELL CARD

My team mate and friend Sarah has broken one of her ribs and i feel bad because

i havent had a chance to get to see her so i whipped her up a get well card.

I embossed with the big shot and elegant bouque folder and used the fun fast notes stamp set for the sentiment.

I love the inside of the sentiment in this stamp set so i just had to use it on the inside of the card

Just a simple one this morning.

This one set i looked at buying and thought no i wont buy it and then i won it at the Sydney Regionals Training day back in november.  To be respectful i thought i should make a card with it.
